Ties in with personal and emotional value - value for money perceived durability and quality - product will pay itself back - positive brand recognition - a simple positive message tied to the product (marketing slogans, use of packaging) - it's NOT about a guilt purchase - empowered consumers with provided product and company information through technology (websites, CD's etc..) - product stimulate health and well-being
